This week we will talk about 3 of the 5 sizes pairing up with their respective applications on corrugated metal roofing system.

The 3 main parts to secure a fasteners are:

Valley

Fasteners recommended:

Head Profile: Hex Washer Flange with round EPDM washer or

Hex Washer Head with Galvanized/Aluminum bonded EPDM washer

Thread Profile: Full Thread

Drill Point Profile: Self Drilling Point 3, steel penetration 5.5mm


Crest

Fasteners recommended:

Size:

12-14 x L

M5.5-15 x L

(min.40mm max. 300mm)

Head Profile: Hex Washer Flange with round EPDM washer or

Hex Washer Head with Galvanized/Aluminum bonded EPDM washer

Thread Profile: Full Thread/ Double Thread with Shank Protection Ridges

Drill Point Profile: Self Drilling Point 3, steel penetration 5.5mm


Stitching

Fasteners recommended:

Size:

14- 20 x 22mm

15-15 x 20mm

M6.3- 20 x 22mm

Head Profile: Hex Washer Flange with round EPDM washer or

Hex Washer Head with Galvanized/Aluminum bonded EPDM washer

Thread Profile: Full Fine Thread

Drill Point Profile: Self Drilling Point 1, steel penetration 1.8mm
